Celebrating 2 Years in Our New Home

Continuing the Casa Grande SDA Legacy Since 1936

This year marks the 2nd anniversary of the Casa Grande Seventh-day Adventist Church in our beautiful new location. While our church family was established back in 1936, this milestone celebrates two years in the building that God has provided as our current spiritual home.

We began in a small room just around the corner from where we now gather. The building that became our new home was previously the Social Security Administration office, designed for business activities with offices and partitions. Through God’s blessings, it underwent an extensive renovation—walls came down, rooms were reconfigured, new flooring and infrastructure were installed, and fresh doors, lighting, and an AV booth transformed it into a place for worship and ministry.

Since then, this space has been filled with countless precious moments. We celebrated our Grand Opening in April, joined by city officials, community members, and our Conference President. We purchased a portable baptismal, through which many new believers have been welcomed into the faith, and existing members have experienced a refreshing of commitment. Our church family also launched Wednesday Night Prayer Meeting socials, offering encouragement and fellowship to us and our community each week.

This past year, we hosted Prophecy Odyssey featuring Pastor Doug Batchelor, a 15-day evangelism series sharing Bible truth about the future. Following that, our Vacation Bible School welcomed children and families with fun, learning, and the joy of Jesus’ love.

Looking ahead, we are excited to continue building on this momentum. On October 24, we begin Peace for Today, Hope for Tomorrow, a six-day outreach series to bring encouragement and hope to our community. Shortly after, on November 8, we will host Hope is Alive, a community musical concert celebrating faith, joy, and God’s presence through music.

Through every step, we give glory to God for His guidance, blessings, and purpose for Casa Grande SDA Church. As we celebrate two years in this building, we remain anchored in our mission:

“Reaching Our Community with the Love, Hope, and Power of Jesus.”
